The Bugs were founded in 1979. For the past 34 years, they have allowed boys and girls of the Bay area to play the game of rugby
The Wynnum Rugby Union club was established by a Dad wanting to give his son an opportunity to play rugby union in the Wynnum District. 35 years later, the Bugs has a playing group of over 500, including juniors, seniors, veterans (over 35's) and in 2014, a women's team. The club is a family-oriented organisation. This page is designed to be an information portal for all members on both important and light-hearted information.
